What is a CBA (Curriculum Based Assessment)?

SPECIAL DIRECTIONS FOR LANGUAGE ARTS 8 CBA - Semester A
For the Semester A CBA, you will meet with me to review the draft of your Unit 5: Explanatory Essay Portfolio. You do not need to have started Unit 5 to begin working on this draft. In fact, you can start the draft immediately by following these directions. You will further refine your essay after meeting with me and completing the Unit 5 lessons. Please webmail me a completed draft of your essay before your CBA appointment. You must complete your CBA with me before submitting your final draft to the Unit 5 dropbox.
